Developmental Edit
The next step in the editing process is the developmental edit.
At this stage, I look for what is and isn’t working, but this level
differs in that I provide focused, detailed suggestions on dramatic structure, offer recommendations on world-building, or advise on character development.
Often, the story doesn’t meet readers’ or genre expectations. When I do this type of editing, it typically results in a depth report plus heavy commenting in the text.

Line & Copy Edit
For copy editing, we correct punctuation and grammar to
ensure accuracy and clarity, query facts or unclear
statements, ensure the tone is appropriate for the
audience, and verify that references and citations are in order.
For Line editing, We focus more on the language, tone, and
flow; it’s more about how the text sounds and feels.
£9 per 1000 words
Proofread
The last stage is Proofreading and the final
editing stage! Here, we check for any typographic
errors that were made or missing in the first
three editing processes, such as grammar, spelling and punctuation, all in tracked changes.
